Duffy testifies before Senate on transportation budget amid airline hikes
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy will testify Tuesday afternoon before a Senate Appropriations Committee panel on President Trump's fiscal 2027 budget request. The White House is seeking $26.6 billion in discretionary budget authority for the Transportation Department. Duffy is also likely to face questions around the jet fuel shortage that has caused airline prices to skyrocket amid the conflict in Iran as well as scrutiny over his "Road Trip" reality show.
