This Aeropress technique is built around a simple idea: understanding the key brewing variables and adjusting them to control extraction, sweetness, acidity, body, and strength. Starting from a simple base recipe, I show how I adjust agitation, contact time, grind size, and ratio to tune the coffee depending on the beans I’m brewing. This approach works with light roasts, medium roasts, and darker coffees, and it gives you the flexibility to shape the cup exactly how you want it.
