Sony Mavica MVC-FD51 Digital Camera
A quick repair and demonstration of the Sony Mavica MVC-FD51 Digital camera. This is a very early digital camera from 1998 that (like most of the other Mavicas) stores photos on a 3.5" floppy disk. It stores them at a whopping 640x480 resolution and uses an analog sensor from a video camera. Oh, also... the thumbnail was taken on the MVC-FD95. 0:00 Introduction 2:55 Problem 3:22 Disassembly 6:35 Cleaning and Repair 7:46 Testing it out 12:40 Overview 13:52 Macro whoopsie 14:24 Test photos 14:36 Discussion 15:38 The MVC-FD95 16:52 Batteries 18:28 The Floppy Door 19:27 Focus! 20:34 MVC-FD95 vs MVC-FD51 Comparison Song used is Future Freeway by Adam MacDougall
