Marvel's Wolverine Just Became Much More Important

Marvel's Wolverine being confirmed as a physical release might be more important than it first appears. With PlayStation moving away from physical discs after 2027, Wolverine could represent the end of an era for Sony, physical game collecting, and even superhero games on PlayStation. At the same time, the backlash has sparked multiple petitions, lawsuits, and questions about where game ownership goes from here. It's been a bit of a wild ride lately. This isn't just about Wolverine or any one game coming out. It's about what happens when an entire industry changes direction, and why so many players are pushing back. Do you think physical games still matter, or is this where gaming was always going? I personally think people misunderstand the argument for switching to PC. The difference there is there are multiple storefronts. With Sony PlayStation, you'd pretty much, right now, just be stuck buying through their storefront only.
