I test rode the current Honda PCX150, and here's my review. The PCX150 underwent a full model change in 2014, making its re-debut with improved features like LED lighting. Its sleek styling, outstanding riding stability, excellent fuel economy, and ease of use as a tool remain intact, but its exterior now has a significantly more luxurious feel. The engine, meanwhile, has been improved from the previous eSP, increasing torque at low and mid-speeds and further reducing friction loss. Combined with fuel-efficient tires with low rolling resistance, fuel economy is said to have been further improved. The fuel tank capacity has also been increased by 2.1 liters compared to the previous model, to 8.0 liters. While this is an inconspicuous feature, it will be a valuable asset for riders who cover long distances on their daily commutes, and for those who use this model for touring and take advantage of the ability to ride on highways. Other features include a more precisely controlled idling stop function, an under-seat luggage space with an improved opening and closing mechanism, a glove box with a power outlet that can be used to charge electronic devices, and a meter panel with improved visibility.
