Waluś idolised in Poland
Janusz Waluś, the killer of anti-apartheid activist Chris Hani, will be released from incarceration this week. Interestingly, the rise of interest in Waluś's popularity in Poland by young nationalists and fascists appears to be growing. Meanwhile, reports regarding where he will be based once released and whether he could leave the country are still to be debated and answered by SA authorities. According to Dr Rafal Pankowski, who studies fascism in Poland and in football, Waluś's supporters are idolising his actions. Professor Pankowski elaborates.
