Hagorun (Bosnia & Herzegovina) - March of the Storm (Demo 2022)

Debut demo by Hagorun, a mighty new project from the bosnian tyrant, O. (Obskuritatem, Sulphuric Night, Niteris, etc.) Absolutely killer release, quite different from most of his projects, Hagorun is deeply and pretty exclusively rooted and influenced by the ancient Black Metal traditions, incorporating a big influence from the mighty Kaldrad's projects, particularly Branikald in the cold, atmospheric epic riffing as well as Nitberg, particularly in the epic chants presented on the closing track. The opening track follow more along the lines of frantic Finnish worshipping Black Metal, but works as an excellent energetic opener for the more epic and throttling omens that come afterwards.
