HOW TO PAINT A REALISTIC GORIILLA with Suzanne Barrett Justis Whether you paint in acrylics or oils, this easy, step by step painting tutorial is fun and informative. You will learn how to paint a low land mountain gorilla from start to finish in this time lapsed, easy to follow oil painting tutorial. I start with a very loose pencil sketch, proceed in blocking in the gorilla, painting the background and then finishing up with fine detail . I am working on a smooth gessoed panel which offers a great surface for fine detail. I will be calling out what colors and brushes I am using so you can follow along with this painting demo.
