Wave of the Season, Ireland's Cliffs of Moher

Conor, Odin, Josh, Silas & FinnBob. Wow there is a new crop of Co. Clare wave chargers joining the lineup at Aileens. I'm always impressed with the guys who charge at the Cliffs but when they are 16-18 years old!! That's really impressive, particularly when they live in Co. Clare. 5 years ago the age profile at the Cliffs was definitely increasing, but something New is happening:) Patch Wilson's Surfing is always mind-blowing. Last Friday was no different. Patch got 5 sick waves. The best one was a pleasure to watch & so awesome to hear the commentary of the lads going bananas on the cliff top. The game at the Cliffs is just to try & charge & surf like Patch. I've learned so much & been truly inspired by his surfing. My 7'7 is a copy of his last board. We didn't manage to capture all of the 5 barrels Patch got, but stoked we captured that one special ride. It was an insane ride. What a memorable day. Thanks to all the surfers for sharing the water.
