When you sit for long periods of time, such as when doing desk work or office work, you tend to hunch your back and develop poor posture without even realizing it. Your breathing becomes shallow and fresh oxygen is not circulating, which can make your mind feel fuzzy and your concentration suffer. If that happens to you, take a break and try this "chair yoga" class. As you deepen your breathing, you can comfortably loosen up the muscles in your shoulders, neck, and upper body that tend to become stiff. You'll refresh both your body and mind, and the increased oxygen flow to your brain will improve your concentration and thinking skills.
