There are some personal things that have been going on that shifted my plans around somewhat; I won't really go into detail, I just had to rush the video aspect of this. This wasn't originally going to be the video I uploaded this week, and in fact this was filmed THREE DAYS AGO. This was technically supposed to be considered this month's "medley" and release next week, but the cover I was going to do this week instead got put on pause for now. Hopefully I'll revisit that one soon, but this one was a nice change of pace for my arranging style! This arrangement was more built as something for me to take to live shows if I ever perform at MAGFest or something. I know people love the Sanctuary songs, but my arrangements of all three would take up like twelve minutes of the show, so this was more of a suite of Dark, Second, and Third Sanctuary all rolled together. I'm qualifying this as this month's medley, even though it sort of isn't a medley. I considered a Deltarune Medley, but this felt like a perfect capstone to the Deltarune month. Nothing really to report mixing wise, again. All Archetype John Petrucci for amps this week, and playing around with one of my uncle's bass guitars... that was a mistake because I really want one now. Still, I had a lot of fun putting this together! The solo especially I think was really fun, because the sweeps and shreddy bits were way above my skill level, and I feel like I pulled them off really well! A 16th quintuplet note sweep with a tap in the middle is something I've never EVER considered doing, but dammit, I think it's so sick! I hope you do too!
