My favorite players are SH Subaru Takahashi and FB Takuro Matsunaga! ■Saturday, January 24th, Matchday 6 vs. Kubota Spears Funabashi, Tokyo Bay Host game at Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium Doors open at 10:00 AM, kickoff at 12:00 PM Subaru Takahashi starts, scoring one try (3 consecutive tries in 3 games) Takuro Matsunaga starts The game went into halftime trailing 12-3, 10 minutes into the second half, TJ Clark was substituted due to injury. Perhaps a dislocated right shoulder? Then, at 26 minutes into the second half, they were overtaken. In the 33rd minute, Toshiki Kuwayama's try tied the score... In the 37th minute, Kubota's penalty kick put them 17-20 behind. There were only three minutes left, and I was getting anxious... Richie Mo'unga's try just before the 40th minute of the second half made it 24-20, giving us a comeback win! The roaring cheers were reminiscent of last year's final. This marks a five-game win streak and one loss. The undefeated Kubota Spears finally have one loss. This win is huge. They remain in fourth place. The Wild Knights are the only team with a perfect record. Today's POM is Michael Ståberg.
