Cortes de Baza is a Spanish town and municipality located in the northern part of the Baza region, in the province of Granada. It was an area of human settlement since Prehistory. It had a period of splendor from Roman times until the departure of the Muslims and declined with the repression of the Moors. Currently it is trying to develop with rural tourism and its numerous cave houses in almost all its towns.
