Dreams are boundless when they exist only in our minds, that’s what makes them so beautiful. But when they collide with real life, they must conform to the laws of the universe. The reality of keeping a dream alive can be daunting. The litany of details to organize and track, the monotony of boring tasks, the sheer amount of effort involved to accomplish what was a simple thought can dull the luster of even the most vivid dreams. After years of dreaming, scheming and working to get our new boat in the water, one month of sailing went by in a flash. Folding up the trimaran and pulling her back out of the water felt like folding up a dream. Now, with a massive project list in hand, we must put in the effort to keep the dream alive.
