Sandra Felemovicius' "Tap into Your Creativity in My Studio" with Nino Yuniardi

Thank you @ninoyuniardi so much for opening your studio doors and inviting us to see your incredible inspirational work and personal story.🙏🏻 Bio: “I was born in Indonesia and grew up exploring the crowded city of Jakarta, the backwoods of Java island. As a teenager, Salvador Dalí, Mr. Tino Sidin (an Indonesian artist cartoonist), and many design publications from around the world inspired my initial art-making. My mixed media work is a lifelong study in understanding our diversity, humanity, and my place in the world. A continuation of learning and responding to my emotions that are calling out to be expressed and interpreted. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Pasadena Art Center College of Design. I now work and live in Seattle, Washington.” Artist Statement: “When I create, I embark on a journey of self-reflection. Each painting begins with a question, and through exploration, grows into a narrative; an abstraction of an aspect of life where the materials, colors, and textures become phrases and chapters describing the journey, not just the ending. The process is iterative and celebrates the curiosity and imperfection that makes life dynamic. Though each painting documents a personal journey, I invite others to reflect on their own experiences through the work.” Favorite Materials: Squeegee Montana refillable marker Soft pastel Tile Trowel Shop towel Paint bucket Lukas paint Liquitex pouring medium
