See videos early & get the theme remixes: / wrestling_bios Sweet Merch: https://www.chinlocks.com Twitter: / wrestlingbios Glacier had a tough time in WCW. From his delayed debut in 1996 and his character's inspiration coming from Sub Zero in the Mortal Kombat franchise, to his later days as Coach Buzz Stern and the failed effort to revive the Glacier gimmick in early 2001. Ray Lloyd wasn't a bad wrestler, he was just always given some really bad stuff to work with. Debuting around the same time as the nWo didn't do Glacier any favours either, the nWo represented a change in professional wrestling while the Glacier gimmick seemed like something from wrestling's past. In this episode of WCW Blunder, we take a look at 3 key downfalls of the Glaicer character (not including his delayed debut). 00:00 - Intro 02:41 - Glacier = Marketing? 04:42 - Glacier's heel turn 09:04 - Glacier sells his gimmick 13:02 - Coach Buzz Stern 16:55 - The Return of Glacier 20:15 - Final Thoughts / Credits
