How Neat Are Sculpins? (9 Total Catches) Chilling and Jetty Fishing Dana Point, CA

In this video, I once again head out to do some simple and easy jetty fishing out in Dana Point, CA. Frozen head-on shrimp was the bait I used for the entire trip. A great day of fishing for both great weather and fun catches! Caught 6 different species (Rock wrasse, Senorita fish, California Sculpin, Blacksmith fish, Halfmoon fish, Pacific Sanddab) with 9 total catches this session. Overall, couldn't have asked for a better day for some chilling and fishing here in Dana Point c: Technically, the catch of the day is the California Sculpin, I think Sculpins are neat fish! Just be very careful with them, their dorsal, pelvic, and anal fin spikes house their venom glands! The basis for this tradition is to release the first fish you catch, regardless of what it is (prized, PB, good eats, maybe even world record someday haha). I will only keep the first fish if it is gravely wounded or gut shotted (and a species I can legally keep). If I keep the first fish, then I will pass on the tradition to the second fish, and so forth.
