Railway Roundabout - Bonus Disc (circa 2000)
I have no idea when this was released, but what I do know is that no one has uploaded this, or it has, but it was taken down. Either way, enjoy two hours of Railway Roundabout, with a side of commentary by the late Patrick Whitehouse. --------------------- Back Cover Description: "Originally filmed between 1958 and 1962, Railway Roundabout affords an in-depth view of one of the most interesting periods in railway history, when steam and diesel worked together at the same time electrification was being rolled out across Britain and Europe. Whether filming at busy mainline stations or remote branch lines across England, Scotland and Wales, these wonderful films documented railway lines that were on the point of closure and locomotives that were about to disappear forever. Now, commentary from filmmaker and presenter Patrick Whitehouse - recorded decades after the series was first aired - provides a wonderful retrospective view of his experiences filming with John Adams at a time when locomotive power was at its most diverse. The result is a unique and nostalgic look back at a period of unprecedented change on Britain's railways, as well as a much loved TV series. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapters (Please note that films represented by question marks denote films that weren't on any of the Roundabout collections (from what I know).
