[Intro] [acoustic guitar strumming, melodic electric guitar lead] [Verse 1] [male vocals enter] Across oceans deep and waters blue I'll find my way back home to you Through trials of plenty with little sleep My heart remains just yours to keep [Pre-Chorus] The stars at night to light my way Reveals the truth I yearn to say No matter how this day will end My life with you I wish to spend [Chorus] [full band enters, driving drums] I cast my eyes towards the shore Beyond this blue I'll find your door The warmth within meant just for me I know it's there, my mind's eye can see [Instrumental Break] [electric guitar solo with slide-style phrasing] [Verse 2] [bass and drums continue] As days go by and nights wear on Within this hulk from dusk till dawn My heart beats true above the roar Of pounding metal and this moving floor [Chorus] [layered vocal harmonies] I cast my eyes towards the shore Beyond this blue I'll find your door The warmth within meant just for me I know it's there, my mind's eye can see [Bridge] [drums drop out, acoustic guitar and vocals only] I cast my eyes towards the shore Beyond this blue I'll find your door [full band re-enters] Soon my love I'll be with you As I find my way across these waters blue [Outro] [acoustic guitar fades out]
