A shocking crime has come to light in Karimnagar, Telangana, where a 55-year-old woman was allegedly robbed and pushed into a farm well by a 21-year-old degree student addicted to online gambling and betting. The victim had gone in search of daily wage work when the accused allegedly lured her on the pretext of offering a job. After stealing her gold ornaments and mobile phone, he allegedly pushed her into a well and fled. Despite the terrifying ordeal, the woman survived by holding onto wires and ropes inside the well, waiting nearly 24 hours for help. A local farmer later spotted her in the well and alerted police, who rescued her safely. Investigators arrested the accused and recovered stolen gold, silver ornaments, cash, and mobile phones.
