Hirtenstock Tutorial
Make a shepherd's stick yourself - an activity of the 70s children. For this shepherd's stick I used the trunk of a Cornus tree and carved and sanded the stick. For the pattern, I wrapped tree bark around the stick and let it burn in the fire. Then I peeled off the tree bark again, which created the beautiful pattern. Finally, I painted the rod with wood varnish and let it dry. In the next videos I will also show you how to make whistles and air guns out of wood and cars out of wires.
