Getting to Treatments for Genetic FTD: Challenges and Opportunities
Dr. Dacks offered an accessible overview of how FTD therapies move from scientific discovery to clinical trials. She explored the current drug development and clinical trial landscape and discussed strategies to overcome barriers to the development of treatments for all types of FTD. The session concluded with ways the FTD community can drive progress through Registry enrollment, research participation, advocacy, and engagement.
