Raising calves is no easy task for Asian elephant mothers either😂🤣

Recently, monitoring staff captured footage of wild Asian elephants resting in the forest in the Xishuangbanna area of the candidate region for the Asian Elephant National Park in Yunnan. A calf nestled against its resting mother, sometimes nuzzling into her embrace and other times rubbing against her body. Seeing that its mother showed no sign of annoyance, the calf climbed directly onto her, acting playfully and affectionately.
