About William Schultz: William is an OCD survivor, researcher, therapist, and advocate. He lived with and overcame OCD (2007 - 2017), has published a dozen peer-reviewed articles on mental health, and his research was relied on by the International OCD Accreditation Task Force in creating knowledge and competency standards for the treatment of adult OCD. In 2025, he led efforts in making important adjustments to the International OCD Foundation's Treatment Guidelines. William is the president of OCD Twin Cities, the Minnesota state affiliate of the International OCD Foundation.
