What’s the best idea just two weeks after finishing 80 kilometers in the Dolomites? Of course—another race! This time, I’m lining up in Courmayeur, Italy, for the 55K Grand Trail in the stunning Mont Blanc area. This race was extra special because it was part of our annual friends’ reunion tradition—where we all pick different distances (100K, 55K, 30K) and celebrate together at the finish line. From breathtaking climbs up to 2,900m, limited water at aid stations, and unforgettable runnable trails along the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB), to cozy conversations and amazing company on the course, this was a day to remember.
