Farage warns of 'major financial crisis' within six months under an Andy Burnham prime ministership

Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage warns of a “major financial crisis” within six months if Andy Burnham is elected prime minister and continues a policy of heavy borrowing. “We are borrowing money at a faster rate, our debt is rising at a faster rate than any country in the world apart from Botswana,” Mr Farage told Sky News host Paul Murray. “If Burnham thinks I can just chuck money at this, chuck money at that … I’ll tell you what Andy Burnham, you may not worry about the Bond markets, but they'll worry about you. “If he goes down that route, there will be a major financial crisis within six months.”
