Revok – Biocarbon Amalgamate (Full Demo, 2004, Fr) (Screamo / Noise Rock)

Revok are veterans of the Parisian Punk-Hardcore, Screamo and Noise Rock scenes. With members and ex-members of the legendary Gameness & Belle Epoque but also of Do You Compute, Seanews, Les Fragments De La Nuit or the excellent Brume Retina, the band has never stopped since its creation around 2004 to travel the roads and to produce records. If one could consider in the discography of the band that the music has gradually refined towards a less chaotic result and more Noise Rock-ish - a clever and vibrant mix between the ruggedness of Unsane or Helmet's bass/drums, Cult of Luna's soaring guitars and Pageninetynine's sharp ones, and vocals oscillating as eclectically as epileptically between Mike Patton's, David Yow's and Scott Kelly's styles and timbres. We take advantage of the creation of this channel to present you the first two recordings of the band. Two confidential demos distributed under the coat, which will precede several acclaimed albums. If we feel a general rise of the instrumental and conceptual quality from one demo to the other, we will notice however in this first demo the presence of a cult song like "Cranex 350", and its absolutely perfect composition set with a great break. The next demo, "Program Medics And Cathode Clinics" will be published very soon on the channel, and it's even better. If you have the opportunity to see Revok play live, don't miss it, because you don't often get the chance to meet such humble people making such good and authentic music.
