Kaleena Smith was born to parents who both played college basketball and is the oldest of five siblings. She began playing basketball when she was three years old after being gifted a ball by her grandfather, looking up to players like Kyrie Irving. Smith played against boys throughout her youth and received the nickname "Special K". She started playing in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) at age 12, initially at the 16U level, with the California Storm. Now for the last two years she is on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit with 7 Days. Team Norcal Based in Northern California, is a non profit organization that provides development and exposure opportunities for youth girls basketball players. The currently have players who live in Sacramento, East Bay, Silicon Valley, Central Valley, Las Vegas and Southern California as well! Enjoy todays matchup!
