Melinda Cooley performance at State UIL Twirling Contest/May 2026/“Last Dance”

Congratulations to Melinda Cooley for being selected as Outstanding Performer at the 2026 Texas State UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest! Being named Outstanding Performer is an incredible accomplishment. Each judge selects only one performer for the entire day who truly stood out among so many talented performances from across the state of Texas. This is such a wonderful way for Melinda to close out her high school twirling career! We are excited to see her continue her journey this fall at Stephen F. Austin State University as a member of the Twirl-O-Jacks. Melinda is my third student to earn this prestigious honor. Natalie McQuiston Kelly received the award in 2013, and Gracie Lane earned the honor in 2022. I’m incredibly proud of Melinda for joining these outstanding Precision Twirl students in receiving this award. I am one very proud coach!
