Iza Awaits You! #Iza is a Colombian municipality located in the department of #Boyacá. It is part of the Sugamuxi province. It is located ninety kilometers east of #Tunja, the department's capital. The municipality of Iza is characterized by the preservation of its historical heritage, which is evident in its pre-Hispanic ancestry, rock art, myths, legends, traditions, local place names, festivals, and crafts such as cotton and wool weaving using practices and looms from medieval Spain, as well as in its colonial architecture. These aspects led to its declaration as a National Cultural Heritage Site by the Colombian Ministry of Culture in 2002. Address: J.
