I Found This in Argentina 🇦🇷 | Rosario

Today I explore Parque de la Independencia in Rosario, Argentina, the largest park in the city. After a morning run along Rosario’s waterfront, I head into the city to wander through the park, see the lake, cross the bridges and explore the famous rose garden. Along the way I discover statues, fountains, and even references to Che Guevara, who was born here in Rosario. I also visit the historic Dissidents’ Cemetery, where many British immigrants were buried because they weren’t Catholic, including the founder of Newell’s Old Boys football club. It’s my last day in Rosario before catching an overnight bus further south through Argentina, so I wanted to explore as much of the city as possible before leaving. I am an older backpacker travelling the world proving that backpacking is not just for the younger generation.
