In this video, I take you along for my very first experience setting up as a dealer at a sports card show! Joining me behind the table was none other than Mrs. T, who brought her Pokémon inventory while I focused on sports cards. My strategy heading into the show was simple. I've been stacking Caleb Williams rookie cards for quite some time and brought an entire showcase dedicated to the Bears quarterback. I also brought another display case packed with Michael Jordan cards, hoping to attract collectors looking for the greatest basketball player of all time. Beyond buying, selling, and trading cards, one of the most valuable parts of the day was learning from experienced dealers. During the show, I had the opportunity to interview several card show veterans who shared advice on how to be successful selling sports cards and building a successful hobby business. Some of the amazing collections I encountered featured vintage sports cards from legends such as Mickey Mantle, Roberto Clemente, and Ted Williams. One of the biggest highlights was seeing the incredibly rare 1977 Mexican Topps football cards, including a Walter Payton card featuring him as a member of the "Osos" (Bears).
