Nirav Power Lunch
In June 2026, Democratic candidate for Governor Dr. Nirav Shah joined Our Power and friends to discuss his energy plans, principles and priorities, and to answer our questions live. Nirav led Maine's CDC through COVID-19, then served as deputy director of the U.S. CDC, and is now a Colby College professor. Our Power was pleased to have this unique opportunity to delve deeper into energy policy than the usual multitopic, multicandidate forums allow. Through direct conversation with candidates and electeds, we can improve the cost, reliability and local control of Maine energy for decades to come.
