Ep. 3 Lost Power of the Word & Unearthing Motherwort When You Need a Hug
In this episode, we move from an extended intro into an informal conversation over tea. I discuss what happens in the organic telling and receiving of a story. I talk about the transference of information at a cellular level, and the mass initiation humanity is currently in. I also touch on how our services and products in the world may only be a part of the whole in our soul mission; that when we feel the 'calling' to do a particular act it does not mean that we show up in our whole ability. It will still take time, practice, and faith to follow the path laid out. I discuss why it is important for our subtle body to have the space to connect with narrative and why words hold power to open worlds. I also, through my latest personal challenge of what I call the 'spiral,' talk about plant supports for anxiety, emotional balance, and assistance along our personal road. I also take some space to observe how the unearthing of the lost medicine of storytelling is indelibility connected to the powerful plant ally Motherwort. More About Your Host: Michelle Rosetta has over 20 years of experience in the natural beauty industry and is now a practicing Clinical Herbalist. She created BEE23 Natural Beauty in 2007, a non-toxic small-batch product line for herself and others, not only to have superior products to use but as an educational platform to share with her community what is not working and harmful in synthetic chemical-based brands. She has travelled across Canada and to Los Angeles with this brand, along with freelance writing encompassing tips for positive and healthy skin care. Michelle is interested in the deeply emotional, philosophical and energetic relationship we have with ideals of 'beauty,' looking to reconcile this with the love of self and our purpose which lies far deeper than reaching for the latest cosmetic cream. Her life has been a practice in finding magic in a messy kitchen with a full house, while attempting to maintain a regimen of 'working' on self. The journey continues as she now walks into a new era of coming to terms with undeniable aging of the physical self, seeking knowledge to empower in areas we have control and to acquire grace in what we must let go to welcome the next level of fabulousness.
