It's unbelievable where time has gone! This summer marks 50 years since I began my career as a pilot. Before carrying passengers and freight in a commercial air service, every Captain must successfully complete Transport Canada-approved examinations, training, and competency checks. North Eastern Sky Services is fortunate to have veteran Captain John Manuel serving as Chief Pilot, ensuring we continue to meet the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This outstanding de Havilland Beaver "C-FODB" was manufactured in 1951 & is serial number 113 of the 1,657 Beavers built between 1947 and 1967. Interestingly, the U.S. Army ordered 970 of these remarkable aircraft.
