Why do you want to draw

When you're clear about why you draw, everything changes. Your purpose becomes your foundation. It keeps you grounded when the work isn't going well, frees you from external validation, and allows you to stay present with the act of creating. I believe that mindset always comes before technique. If your reason for drawing is built on external goals, your creativity will constantly be constrained by them. If it's built on curiosity, connection, meaning, and the need to express your response to the world, then the process becomes far more honest and sustainable.
