Monday, December 5, 2011. Fátima Bernardes bids farewell to JN and welcomes Patrícia Poeta The last "goodnight" from presenter Fátima Bernardes on "Jornal Nacional" was given at 9:15 PM this Monday. The farewell newscast was longer than usual. In the last segment, at 9 PM sharp, Fátima and William Bonner welcomed presenter Patrícia Poeta, who will be at the anchor desk starting this Tuesday. "It gives me butterflies in my stomach," revealed Patrícia, when asked by Bonner if she was nervous. Summaries of the two presenters' careers were shown, starting with Patrícia's. At the end of the segment, the new "JN" presenter said that "the expectations are the best possible" for the job. "I feel challenged, as if I were starting a new job." The segment about Fátima's career was shown next. Afterward, the presenter spoke about her expectations for her new project. "I will be very happy with a program that is mine. It wasn't easy, but it made me proud. I am confident that this project was approved because the viewer has confidence and affection for me. I am extremely proud to have their trust and partnership." Patrícia wished Fátima success. "I want to tell you what all Brazilians would like to say: we will be counting down the days until your program. Success to you, may you be very happy at the beginning of this journey." At the end of tonight's edition of "Jornal Nacional," viewers could hear "good night and see you soon" from Fátima, and "good night and see you tomorrow" from Patrícia.
