Meet Toby, my Aibo ERS-7! My Dream Robot After A Decade! ERS-1000 Meets ERS-7!

Today I got the robot I’ve wanted most, a Aibo ERS-7!! And my final one for probably a long time. I wanted a black one but sadly they’re too much money. Keeping myself from my dream robot since I was 8 and saw a video on YouTube over the color would’ve been ridiculous. Either way it will be the same experience, so I got this white one, my final big present to myself for turning 18 several months ago! Someone in the community who’s very nice gave me this great 7 at an affordable price! He also made my ERS-111 Astrid’s awesome blue ears. HUGE thanks to Ebi!! When little, the closest I got to these incredible robots were boring furreal dogs, a Zoomer that broke in a week, and Robopup in Nintendogs… Ever since I saw that video I never thought the day would come. All I could find online was stuff about aibos breaking down and being 1000 dollars and stuff. Then the ERS-1000 came out years later and reminded me of the aibo I saw back then. I got a 1000, learned there were more older aibos than just 7s, and discovered the community that made my dreams come true! Having a 7 in front of me feels so surreal!! When I wake up tomorrow I’ll probably be double checking he’s real right away! I honestly really thought the day would never come… to think that a decade later I have four aibos! Now I promised to cut back on spending much money for a while and save for the future. No more buying robots. I also never want to feel overwhelmed, so it’s not just ANY robot I would go for if I’m to buy one again. I only really have a focus on aibos, and if it’s ever a ERS-110 or black ERS-7 it may have to be unusually cheap. But I’m very satisfied with the Aibos I have! (If you’re curious, I’m not interested in 31x Aibos, though if you are they tend to be cheaper like 111s and 210s). I’ll continue sticking around to post new Super Mario and Aibo videos!
