The Titleist TS2 and TS3, released two years ago, were a redesign of the 9 series, a beloved series for many golfers. These clubs are favored by top players like Justin Thomas, Adam Scott, and Jordan Spieth, and have repeatedly ranked first in PGA Tour tournament usage. Their successors, the TSi2 and TSi3, are designed to satisfy tour players and other better golfers. These clubs feature improvements to the head shape, feel, and sound, further enhancing their performance to better meet tour needs. The face is made of American-made ATI 425 titanium, a new material. This high-strength, high-toughness material further enhances repulsion performance. This model also features enhanced aerodynamics, reportedly reducing drag by approximately 15%. While moment of inertia (MOI) has been increasing in recent years, emphasis has been placed on increasing speed while expanding left and right and up and down. While addressing the drawbacks of an excessively large moment of inertia, such as reduced club speed, the TSi3 delivers the maneuverability preferred by better players. The TSi3 is the first driver to feature the SureFit® CG Track, a movable weight. This driver offers easy trajectory control and a powerful launch. It boasts exceptionally low spin performance, making it a great model for intermediate and advanced players, allowing them to hit powerful impacts without fear of hitting left. In addition to two original shafts, the TSi Premium shaft, the TOUR AD DI, is also included in the lineup. Professional golfer Ryosuke Ishii tested the club's flight performance using the TrackMan ballistics measurement system.
