The European Entry Exit System is a pretty straightforward process that adds a small amount of time for a traveler crossing into the European Union or Schengen Zone. It entails having your picture taken, your passport scanned, and electronic fingerprints taken. It is not hard and it is not painful. They are implementing the system through fall of 2026.
