The retaining cap is made of high-melting transparent structural polycarbonate, resistant to high temperatures. When exposed to a stream of hot air above 100 degrees Celsius, the cap will not lose its integrity, but the body of the seal will be irreversibly deformed. The retaining collet is made of stainless steel, which ensures a long service life of the seal in conditions of high humidity and harsh environments. In this seal, the collet and cap are located inside a formed cavity and are flush with the front face of the seal. This is done to avoid accidental contact, such as impacts on the crimped part of the body.
