Korean social media has a new new trend that exploded in popularity at the moment and that hot trend is rice paper ddeokbokki! Ddeokbokki (also spelt tteokbokki) is a spicy rice cake dish that is very popular here in South Korea and is also one of my favourite Korean foods. At the moment everyone is making it with a twist! Instead of using rice cakes like usual, a recipe has gone viral where you roll up rice paper into a rice cake shape, and maybe even fill them with cheese and use those to make the ddeokbokki.
