Mazda Premacy / Kenwood DMX7522S installed

This customer had been wanting to replace his JDM Pioneer stereo for awhile now. Recently we finally managed to get this done. His main needs were wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, hands-free calling, retaining the reverse camera and wanting to get the steering wheel buttons to work. We are happy to say that all the needs are fulfilled. Seeing that this car is already using a standard 2-DIN sized head unit, we opted for the Kenwood DMX7522S which fits perfectly without any need for customization. This model is very popular as it does have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and is priced below MYR2K. For this install, there are quite a number of trims to remove but thankfully it is not a difficult job. The original wiring wasn't great but thankfully the plugs were not cut off and remained. This way we could remove all the old wiring, clean up the wires and use our in-house made "PNP" cable. This keeps the stock wiring tidy and make the job of removal and reinstallation tidy. Very happy with this install and would recommend owners of this very Mazda model this Kenwood.
