Malaysia: Scary Ride on Langkawi's Cable Car | Skybridge | SkyGlide

Thank you! 🙏 I start by visiting a few beaches in the north of the island of Langkawi before taking a rather scary ride on Langkawi's cable car up to the Sky Bridge. I say scary for two reasons: First, the cable car is said to feature the world's steepest incline at 42° which occurs as you're heading towards a huge rock cliff face before the middle station; and secondly, the wind was really blowing meaning that it was rocking the cable car from side-to-side!! Upon reaching the top, I took in the views and walked down to the Sky Bridge - completed in 2005 using Russian helicopters that were used to lift pre-fabricated sections of the bridge into place, as well as the pylon and the two triangular end platforms. Instead of walking back up from the bridge, I decided to take the weird but really fun SkyGlide - a pod that runs on rails. A unique piece of transport that I've never seen before.
