Sergei Malatov is an enforcer for the Greeks who is a prominent supporting character in season 2. Seeing as though he snitched on the Greeks, why didn’t they kill him? How is it possible that he is still on good terms with the Greeks, that he can be a middleman between them and Marlo, when surely by now he should have been given the D’Angelo treatment? And also, with him living out his days in prison, what’s in it for him and just what kind of valuable information could he give to Marlo anyway? It’s not as if he would be in the know with the Greek’s, he’s out of the game – as Vondas tells Joe in season 2, the Greeks would be using new people for their dealings. So, let’s discuss.
