Sony SL-C30 Part 1 - Can the wreck be saved?
Quite a challenge this one and in the spirit of 'all Betas are equal', I really wanted to try and save this machine. Although it was tatty and full of dust it had many redeeming features with a relatively good deck- great plastics, good head and tape path and the reel drive motor and idler are perfect. Watch as I come to a conclusion that might surprise some of you if you've been watching on the channel for a while... A complete deck swap is in part 2 of this two part series and it really isn't that bad! Thank you so much for watching and please subscribe and like too - really very much appreciated.
