Yan "Avgust" Danilko is a 27-year-old soldier of the Azov Brigade who returned to Ukraine in June 2025 after three years in Russian captivity. After surviving the battles for Mariupol, he was at the epicenter of the Olenivka tragedy, where he suffered severe injuries, losing a leg and an eye. He endured the detention centers of Donetsk, Taganrog, and the Perm region. Why did investigators interrogate him while drunk and terrified of his "fingernails"?
