So, we decided to make this video, in which we'll show you how to make the most expensive cutting board Holz-Liebling has ever offered. For this super exclusive and unique end-grain cutting board, we chose pear wood. Pear wood is one of Europe's most prized hardwoods and, like all fruitwoods, is relatively rare and therefore expensive. Similar to apple wood, pear wood has a beautiful red core with striking patterns. However, things can get a little chaotic during our video shoots, and not everything goes according to plan. As you'll see in the video, we originally wanted to make one cutting board measuring 60x40 cm.
