This video documents an unplanned road trip in Japan, relying entirely on Google Maps for navigation. The journey starts with a solo trip to meet a friend who had arrived in Japan earlier. The initial plan was to accompany my friend for some errands. When those errands were abruptly canceled, the trip transitioned into a spontaneous drive, stopping and traveling at our own pace. The route in this video is divided into 4 main segments: Shizuoka: The starting point of the unplanned drive. Nagoya: Continuing the journey from Shizuoka. Takayama: The meeting point where my partner joined the trip before we headed north. Lake Suwa: The final destination of the journey. This trip originated from an invitation by friends, but two of them canceled, leaving only me and Sun. Since neither of us wanted to create a strict itinerary, we simply chose a general area to explore, booked our hotels, and followed Google Maps.
