Touhou 9.5 || Shoot the Bullet || Level 8

You are Aya Shameimaru, a reporter for the Tengu newspaper in Gensokyo, who flies as fast as the wind. Your task is simple: use any means necessary to obtain photos of other residents of Gensokyo (preferably with danmaku) in order to create an interesting article. However, you are well aware that this task will not be easy... Shoot the Bullet is unusual and interesting game in Touhou series. Instead of standard battles with opponents, you take photos of them and their bullets (Aya doesn't shoot because she doesn't want to ruin the photos with her bullets). Normal shots have been replaced with a camera that you can point at your opponent and take photos, but only after charging. Aya has three types of speed: very fast (unfocusef), normal (focused), and turtle speed (when you press focus and shoot simultaneously). The camera charges automatically, but you can speed up the charging process in the third type of speed. To complete the level's scenes, you'll need to take several photos with a relatively high number of points. In short, the more points you earn from a photo, the more bullets and enemies you capture, and you can also benefit from various situational multipliers, such as a multiplier for having Aya in the frame, an enemy with a red circle appearing for a second, or if there were bullets very close to you at the time. Level 8 feels slightly easier than the previous one, but this is mostly felt in Yuyuko's scenes. Ran, on the other hand, puts a lot of pressure on you, and her scenes are difficult to complete. Your opponents in Level 8 are Ran Yakumo and Yuyuko Saigyouji, both have 4 scenes. 00:00 - Scene 1 - Nonspell Owner: Unusual Animal - Ran Yakumo Go into gaps of talismans to avoid line of large bullets. Gaps have an angle, so you need moving slowly. For first 3 photos move in charging speed, after that in focused speed. Be careful, you can go into the trap after dodging. 01:20 - Scene 2 - Ghostly Elegance "Light Trap of Passing Away" Owner: Refined Ghost Photography - Yuyuko Saigyouji Before spell starts, you can make some photos and go down. When spell starts, you need misdirecting bubbles in proccess. If you figure it out, the scene won't be difficult. 02:04 - Scene 3 - Esoteric Sign "The Great Master's Secret Principle" Owner: Unusual Animal - Ran Yakumo Be careful about walls of talismans and gaps which they make. After 3 photos Ran will attack you with large bullets, so you need skills of improvisation. 02:50 - Scene 4 - Butterfly Sign "Deadly Lance of the Swallowtail Butterfly Crest" Owner: Refined Ghost Photography - Yuyuko Saigyouji Take first photo and go to corner. Then dodge lasers and butterflies in charging speed, then repeat. Each photo increases lasers shooting rate. 03:58 - Scene 5 - Ascetic Sign "Eighty Million Goma Boards" Owner: Unusual Animal - Ran Yakumo Misdirect the wall of talismans, then go into free space when avoiding fireballs and charge camera so fast as you can. If you charge camera in right time, you will not feel this pressure of fireballs. 04:52 - Scene 6 - Death Sign "Life of Drunk, Dream of Death" Owner: Refined Ghost Photography - Yuyuko Saigyouji Make first photo and go bottom. Then wait when Yuyuko will close enough, take photo and go up. Repeat for other direction. Spell is pretty easy, but it's SOOOO LOOOONG because you need 10 photos for win. 07:08 - Scene 7 - Superman "Soaring En no Ozunu" Owner: Unusual Animal - Ran Yakumo This spell about misdirecting. Go left-right and misdirect Ran in corners. Each photo increase Ran's speed. In last photo Ran is too fast, you can't move in charging speed, so be careful. 08:20 - Scene 8 - "Death Butterfly, Floating Moon" Owner: Refined Ghost Photography - Yuyuko Saigyouji You can't take photo in first 6 seconds. After 6 seconds spell starts. When lasers are appearing, butterflies are moving fast, so take defence shot. Then charge camera and take photo.
